As I sit in The Roosevelt Coffee House at 300 E Long St, Columbus, OH 43215, I thought about making a quick blog. I love this place A LOT, the coffee is great, and they have a very good selection of bagels and pastries too! The overall ambiance is perfect if you want to do work, read a book, or if you want to catch up with old friends. My go-to is the iced americano (I know it’s disgusting for some of you, grow up). I have also tried the iced vanilla latte and their seasonal special of the pistachio latte (I really liked this one, too). It is a very spacious place with a good amount of seating room; they have two different sitting areas. The area it is in is also really nice; it has really nice apartments across the road from it, but the area in general seems to be quieter for a city area. Finally, the music here is perfect for a coffee house; they have a record player and a STACK of vinyl which the workers here brought in (they have very good taste in music). I almost forgot they have a lot of plants all over the place. The best part about it, though, is that they all have a name. It reminds me that one day I came in and sat beside a plant named Florence’s kids. I got sad thinking Florence had departed from this world, but I realized Florence was sitting right in front of the register! So, dilemma avoided. So yeah, if you find yourself in Columbus, go to Roosevelt Coffeehouse on Long St for some coffee.
